What is an Integrative approach ?

An integrative approach to healing  highlights the combination of both conventional and alternative approaches to address the biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of health and illness. Respect for the human capacity for healing, the importance of the relationship between the practitioner and the patient, a collaborative approach to patient care among practitioners, and the practice of conventional, complementary, and alternative health care that is evidence-based is emphasized.

Integrative treatment embraces the concept of mind, body, and spirit working together. Integrative medicine may include relaxation techniques, lifestyle changes, and nutritional suggestions. Exercise, relaxation techniques, reflexology or massage may also be recommended to eliminate stress to help heal the body naturally.

True self-care' is a focus at Kinosis and we can 'tailor make' treatments to each individuals specific needs.   We specialise in Kinesiology which helps bring balance to the body emotionally, mentally and physically, by 'unblocking' any energy blockages caused by stress in order for the body to heal itself.    We also offer a variety of massages with a holistic approach to promote relaxation and a tense free body.
